Good
questions.
Clear answers.
The practical details of working together: how a project starts, how the work takes shape, who owns it and what happens after launch.
Working together
How do we start?
Send a short note through the contact form or email us directly. Tell us about the business, your current website and the change you have in mind. We aim to reply within one business day.
Where do you work?
We are based in the United States and work remotely with businesses across the country, using calls, email and shared review links.
Who will I work with?
You work directly with the person responsible for your project, with a clear point of contact throughout.
Can you work with an existing brand?
Yes. We can build within your current identity or define a separate identity scope where the brand needs development.
Project scope
What shapes the project scope?
The number of pages, content readiness, locations, integrations and publishing requirements. We define those details with you before work begins.
What does the project plan include?
The deliverables, responsibilities, review stages and proposed schedule, along with any third-party services the website needs.
Can the scope change?
Yes. We review new requirements together and update the plan before additional work begins.
What should I prepare?
Your current website, brand files, available photography, service or menu information and any systems that need to connect to the site.
The work itself
What do you build websites with?
We select the platform around the content, integrations and maintenance needs. Many projects suit HTML, CSS and JavaScript; a content management system can support teams that publish regularly.
Will I be able to edit the content?
We agree which updates your team needs to make, prepare a suitable editing workflow and explain it during handover.
Do I keep control of the website?
Your domain, hosting and business content stay under your control. The agreed source files and access documentation are included at handover.
How do you approach performance?
We consider image weight, fonts, scripts and loading behavior throughout the build, then check the important pages under realistic conditions.
How do you approach accessibility?
We review semantic structure, contrast, keyboard use, focus states, form labels and image alternatives. Additional independent accessibility evaluation can be defined in the project scope.
Search and measurement
Can you guarantee a search position?
No. We define the work, establish a baseline and report the changes and available results clearly.
How long does search work take?
Timing depends on your starting point, competition and search engine updates. We review progress against a baseline and adapt the priorities over time.
Do I need ongoing search support?
It depends on your market and goals. We can first assess the website and business profile, then recommend whether ongoing work would be useful.
How do you make content understandable to search engines?
We use clear page structure, accurate business information, descriptive metadata and relevant structured data. These practices help search engines interpret the site; they do not guarantee placement in search or assistant answers.
After launch
What happens if something needs attention?
We define the initial support period and contact process in the project plan. Ongoing care can provide a regular route for maintenance and content updates.
Do I need an ongoing care arrangement?
You can manage the website yourself after handover. Ongoing care is available if you would like help maintaining and developing it.
Can you look after a site someone else built?
We can review the current platform, code and hosting, then recommend a suitable maintenance approach.
Can you help with a future transition?
We document the delivered files and access information so the website can be maintained by your team or another provider. Any transition support is planned with you.
