By using Aureni, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Arcturne LLC (“Arcturne,” “Aureni,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). They apply when you download, access, purchase, or use Aureni.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Aureni.

These Terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”). Apple’s applicable terms also govern your use of the downloaded application and App Store services.

Relationship clarity, not mind reading.

Aureni is relationship-clarity coaching software. It helps organize information you provide into observable facts, bounded possibilities, unknowns, patterns, next-step scenarios, and draft language. It may also help you record standards, outcomes, corrections, and private reflections.

Aureni cannot know another person’s private thoughts, intentions, diagnosis, or future behavior. Generated possibilities are not facts. You are responsible for evaluating output against direct communication, observable behavior, your circumstances, and qualified human advice.

Aureni is not an emergency or professional service.

Aureni is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis, legal advice, professional counseling, crisis monitoring, law enforcement, or an emergency service. It cannot monitor you, determine whether someone is dangerous, or contact emergency services on your behalf.

Do not rely on Aureni during an emergency or where contact, confrontation, or disclosure could increase danger. If immediate safety is at risk, stop using the app for analysis and contact local emergency services or an appropriate qualified human resource.

You remain responsible for your safety, decisions, communications, boundaries, and verification of any generated content.

Sign in with Apple is optional.

You may use core Aureni features without creating a server account. Optional Sign in with Apple enables account-linked features such as encrypted vault sync and account recovery paths described in the app.

You are responsible for securing your iPhone, Apple Account, device passcode, and account access. Do not share verification codes or credentials. Notify us at info@arcturne.com if you believe an Aureni account is being used without authorization.

You decide what to submit for analysis.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Use aliases when practical, avoid unnecessary third-party personal information, and submit only content you have the right to use.

Aureni requires a current consent action before sending reviewed text for AI analysis. You may withdraw future AI consent through the app. Withdrawal does not undo processing that you previously requested and that was lawful when performed.

Use Aureni lawfully and respectfully.

You may not use Aureni to:

  • harass, stalk, threaten, coerce, exploit, manipulate, impersonate, or discriminate against another person;
  • facilitate violence, self-harm, abuse, unlawful surveillance, or other illegal conduct;
  • submit content you do not have the right to process or intentionally expose another person’s sensitive information without a lawful basis;
  • misrepresent AI output as verified fact, professional advice, or a statement made by another person;
  • circumvent subscription, safety, security, rate-limit, or access controls;
  • reverse engineer protected services except to the limited extent applicable law expressly permits;
  • introduce malware, interfere with infrastructure, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, or use automated systems to overload the service; or
  • use the service in a manner that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect users or systems, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.

Aureni Membership is billed by Apple.

Aureni offers weekly, monthly, and annual auto-renewable membership options through Apple. The features included, localized price, billing period, and any eligible introductory offer are shown in Aureni and in Apple’s purchase sheet before you confirm.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm purchase. Your subscription automatically renews for the selected period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Apple may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

You can view, change, or cancel your subscription in Apple subscription settings. Arcturne does not receive your full payment-card information.

If membership ends, premium analysis may pause. Aureni is designed to keep your own saved data viewable, correctable, exportable, and deletable.

Eligibility is determined by Apple.

Eligible new subscribers may be offered a seven-day free trial with the annual membership. The Apple purchase sheet displays whether the offer is available to your account and what price applies after the trial.

Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the annual subscription automatically begins and Apple charges the annual price shown at confirmation. A customer is generally eligible for only one introductory offer within the Aureni Membership subscription group, subject to Apple’s rules.

Apple controls App Store billing.

Canceling stops future renewal but generally does not end access before the current paid period expires. Refund requests and decisions are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies and applicable law.

You can use Restore purchases in Aureni to ask Apple for current entitlement information. Restoration requires the Apple Account associated with the purchase and does not restore a deleted local encryption key or data that has been permanently deleted.

Deleting Aureni, deleting an Aureni account, or deleting Aureni data does not automatically cancel Apple billing.

You retain rights in what you submit.

As between you and Arcturne, you retain your rights in content you provide. You grant Arcturne a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, transform, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support Aureni at your direction.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content and that your use of Aureni will not violate law or another person’s rights.

Do not publish, send, or commercialize generated output without checking accuracy, privacy, intellectual-property rights, and whether the communication is safe and appropriate.

Output may be wrong or non-unique.

AI output is generated from patterns and the information supplied in a request. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, outdated, or unsuitable. Similar output may be generated for other users.

Aureni uses structured prompts and safety controls to reduce unsupported conclusions, but no control eliminates every error. You must review output before relying on it or sending a draft to another person.

The product and brand remain protected.

Aureni’s software, interface, brand, visual design, prompts, taxonomies, documentation, and service materials are owned by Arcturne or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property and other laws.

Subject to these Terms, Arcturne grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Aureni for your own lawful, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s usage rules.

Some functions depend on other providers.

Aureni uses services supplied by Apple, OpenAI, and cloud infrastructure providers. Third-party services may be unavailable, changed, or governed by their own terms. Arcturne is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, but remains responsible for its own obligations under applicable law.

The service may evolve.

We may update, add, remove, limit, suspend, or discontinue features to improve Aureni, address security or legal requirements, or respond to provider changes. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice before a material change that negatively affects a paid subscription, where required. Price changes are administered through Apple and subject to Apple’s notices, consent rules, and applicable consumer law.

You may stop using Aureni at any time.

You may delete your Aureni account and data through Profile → Delete account & data. Account deletion is separate from Apple subscription cancellation.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary for material violation of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal obligation, or protection of users and systems. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to export user-owned data, unless doing so would create a security, legal, or safety risk.

Aureni is provided “as is.”

Important legal notice

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aureni is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, security, or that output will produce a desired relationship outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, remedy, or consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

Limits that apply where lawful.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcturne and its officers, employees, affiliates, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or relationships, arising from or related to Aureni.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcturne’s total aggregate liability for claims arising from Aureni or these Terms will not exceed the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100) or the amount you paid for Aureni in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and they do not reduce non-waivable consumer rights.

You are responsible for unlawful use.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Arcturne harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from content you submit without necessary rights, your unlawful or abusive use of Aureni, or your material violation of these Terms. This section does not apply where prohibited by applicable consumer law.

Delaware law governs, subject to consumer rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere, legal proceedings arising from these Terms or Aureni must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

If the law where you live gives you mandatory consumer protections or a mandatory forum, those rights remain available to the extent they cannot be waived.

Apple is not a party to these Aureni Terms.

These Terms are between you and Arcturne, not Apple. Arcturne, not Apple, is responsible for Aureni and its support, subject to the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Aureni.

If Aureni fails to conform to an applicable warranty that cannot be disclaimed, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the licensed application, if any, as provided by Apple’s terms. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Aureni.

You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to a United States government embargo and are not listed on a United States government prohibited or restricted-party list.

Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific provisions upon your acceptance.

The remainder continues if one provision fails.

If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; Arcturne may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.

We may update these Terms. The updated version will state a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date.
